Fisherman's Rest respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you enquire about or book a stay, how we use it, and who we share it with.
What we collect
When you contact us through WhatsApp or email, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred dates, party size, and any special requests. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
How we use your information
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, manage your booking, and communicate with you about your stay. We do not use your information for marketing unless you have explicitly asked us to keep you informed.
Third-party services
Your messages are processed by the services you choose to contact us through: WhatsApp (Meta) for WhatsApp messages and your chosen email provider for emails. We do not control how those platforms store or process data, so we encourage you to review their privacy policies as well.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use basic cookies and analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site and to improve performance. These tools do not identify you personally.

You can ask us to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting Anton directly. We will respond as promptly as we can.

Terms & Conditions
By enquiring about or booking a stay at Fisherman's Rest, you agree to the following terms. These terms are provided by the property owner to set clear expectations for guests.
Bookings
All bookings are made by enquiry through WhatsApp or email. A reservation is only confirmed once the owner has agreed the dates, rate, and any special arrangements in writing, and any required deposit has been received. Rates and availability are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
Payments
Payment arrangements are handled directly between you and the owner. Details will be shared once a booking is confirmed. No online payment is collected through this website.
Property use
Fisherman's Rest is a self-catering home for paying guests only. The maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Guests are responsible for the property during their stay and should keep doors and windows secured, treat the home and its contents with care, and follow any instructions provided by the owner.
Liability
The owner is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the property or its facilities, except where caused by negligence or unlawful conduct. Guests use the property at their own risk. We recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance.
Changes and disputes
The owner reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith and, if necessary, under the laws of South Africa.
